Trunk: A short-lived herbaceous plant that lasts only one season. The trunk is erect and has many branches. Has a unique fragrance. Height 0.3-1.0 m. Trunk and branches are square. greenish-yellow When young, it has dense white fur.

Leaves: Single leaves arranged oppositely. It is lance-shaped to oval, 1-2.5 cm wide, 2.5-5 cm long. The leaf base is wedge-shaped, the leaf tip is pointed, the leaf margins are smooth, the leaf surface is smooth, and there are common oily glands. Leaf petioles can be up to 2.5 cm long.

Flowers are clusters up to 15 cm long, consisting of 3 inflorescences, 2 clusters per cluster. The bracts are oval-lanceolate, 2-3 mm long, hairy. The pedicel is up to 4 mm long. The calyx is joined together and the tip is separated into 2 lobes. The white petals are connected together to form a tube. The tip is separated into 2 mouths, 4-6 mm long.
