
Friday, January 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the Suan Nok Agricultural Community Enterprise Learning Center, Bang Yirong Subdistrict, Bang Khon Thi District, Samut Songkhram Province, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, as the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) Front Office for Samut Songkhram Province. Led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Pharmacist, Vice Rector of Samut Songkhram Campus, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Wannee Promdao, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Faculty members from the College of Allied Health Sciences and staff from the Samut Songkhram Campus Office participated in setting up a booth to showcase snack products made with Bang Chang chili oil. And exhibition booths providing educational information in various fields from faculty members of the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine program. The College of Allied Health Sciences participated in the 3rd "Market in the Garden" event, under the project to elevate local food and culture to create value: "The Charm of Wang, Khlong, and Market."
The project was officially opened by Mr. Chayachai Saeng-in, Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, and featured Assistant Professor Dr. Morakot Worachairungruang. The director of the Research and Development Institute presented a report outlining the objectives of the event.
The event was organized by the Research and Development Institute of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University with the following objectives: To preserve culture and promote the community economy by maintaining local wisdom that reflects local lifestyles and resources, developing local food into commercial products can generate income for farmers. The event, aimed at promoting food tourism routes and adding value to local products, is scheduled to take place from January 30 to February 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. At the Community Enterprise Learning Center, Suan Nok, Bang Yirong Subdistrict, Bang Khon Thi District, Samut Songkhram Province.
