
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, as the front-line representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation in Samut Songkhram Province, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus. Accompanied by Assistant Professor Prangthong Nonthakarn, a faculty member in the Health and Beauty Science Program, College of Allied Health Sciences, and staff from the Samut Songkhram Campus Office/under its supervision. We are jointly organizing a project to develop dessert recipes using chili oil from Bang Chang chilies, under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project. Under the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (P.R.S.T.), fiscal year 2026.
The objective is to disseminate knowledge and fulfill the royal initiative of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (PGCP).
Within the project, a workshop on "Processing Snacks from Chili Oil Made with Bang Chang Chili" was conducted by the Ban Tanyong Kaset Sai Wan Community Enterprise Group, led by Mrs. Tanyong Sukasem. The workshop was divided into the following stations:
1. Making crispy rolled wafers (Thong Muan) with Bang Chang chili oil.
2. Making lotus flower-shaped cookies (Khanom Dok Jok) with Bang Chang chili oil.
3. Making crispy bread with Bang Chang chili oil.
4. Making chewy banana chips with Bang Chang chili oil.
The training program was held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Samutthamkhanee Auditorium, Wat Klang Nuea, Bang Khon Thi District, Samut Songkhram Province.
