
Friday, December 12, 2025, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM, at the Benjasiladon Auditorium (500-seat auditorium), Srisunant Building, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, in the capacity of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) Front Office, Samut Songkhram Province.Led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Pharmacist, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, along with Mr. Eknarin Piyapanyamongkol, Acting Director of the Samut Songkhram Campus Office.Mr. Ekkachon Noi-ngern, Director of the Central Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office, along with faculty and staff of the Samut Songkhram Campus Office/internal supervised units. The project to develop dessert recipes using chili oil from Bang Chang chilies was implemented under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (PGCP).For the fiscal year 2026, the aim is to promote the efficient utilization of local resources and to further develop products for commercial purposes.
With the objective of fulfilling the royal initiative of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (PGCP). And to instill in students an awareness of the importance of conserving Bang Chang chili peppers so that they do not disappear from their original local area.
Within the project, an educational lecture was given on raising awareness about the conservation of Bang Chang chili peppers by Mr. Praween Klangsin, a skilled agricultural extension officer. Speakers from the Samut Songkhram Provincial Agricultural Office provided training on "Developing Products to Meet Standards," and a presentation was given by a speaker from the Samut Songkhram Provincial Community Development Office.
In addition, there will be a workshop on processing snacks using Bang Chang chili paste oil, divided into the following stations:
Station 1: Making rolled wafers with chili oil from Bang Chang chilies.
Station 2: Making lotus flower-shaped cookies with chili oil from Bang Chang chilies.
Station 3: Making crispy bread with chili oil from Bang Chang chilies.
Station 4: Making chewy bananas with chili oil from Bang Chang chilies.
