Director of “Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University” Samut Songkhram Center As the KBO Knowledge Network Committee, Samut Songkhram Province Joins to Encourage Entrepreneurs to Produce Community to Develop and Continue OTOP Products to Have Quality Standards and the Identity of the Community which will Eventually Lead to the Self-reliance of the Community

 

                      On 14 December 2021 at 13.30 hr., at the Mae Klong Conference Room, 5th Floor, Samut Songkhram City Hall, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University attended the meeting on the appointment of the KBO knowledge network committee in Samut Songkhram Province by Knowledge-Basd OTOP: KBO. Mr. Sirisak Sirimangkala, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province presided over the meeting in order to drive such important missions to achieve the objectives and achieve common policy goals.

                    In this regard, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of the Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University suggested the guidelines at the meeting as an alternative to entrepreneurs or community producers to bring items to sell to the Revenue Department, Samut Songkhram Education Center which has organized activities for the Mae Klong Mobile project by bringing local quality products in Samut Songkhram, such as dry seafood, seasonal fruit, steamed mackerel, Mae Klong coconut sugar, black-eyed krill paste, as well as organic vegetables and mushroom that the center has grown by itself for helping and supporting the capacity development of community producers in product development to create more value by aiming to have educational institutions in the area as the main unit and linking government agencies, local governments, communities and the private sector to participate in knowledge development, enhancing knowledge, skills, developing OTOP products to have quality standards, and being ready to enter the domestic and international market where the product retains the identity of the community which will eventually lead to the self-reliance of the community.
