
Suan Sunandha, Samut Songkhram Center Organizes the Project "Developing Learning Center to Educate and Practice Demonstrating Herbal Remedies for Knee Pain Relief” at the Research Learning Center and Academic Services to Conserve the Way of Life of the Bang Noi Floating Market Community to Increase the Economy within the Community
On 2 December 2021 at 09.00 hr., Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Education Center organized the project "Developing Learning Center to Educate and Practice Demonstrating Herbal Remedies for Knee Pain Relief” at the Research Learning Center and Academic Services to conserve the way of life of the Bang Noi Floating Market community to increase the economy in the community. Dr. Kritanat Pangchan, Thai Traditional Medicine Officer, College of Allied Health Sciences was a lecturer while the students from the College of Allied Health Sciences trained under "Education and Practice Demonstrating Herbal Remedies for Knee Pain Relieve". The training focused on the people to have knowledge for further careers. Moreover, the knowledge can be applied to generate income to increase health care knowledge with the following objectives:
1) To develop a learning, research and academic service center to conserve the way of life of the Bang Noi Floating Market community;
2) To increase the body of knowledge on health care to the Center for Learning, Research and Academic Services to conserve the way of life of the Bang Noi Floating Market community for use in transferring knowledge to people in the area;
3) For personnel to use the knowledge to live in their lives and to have good physical and mental health resulting in better work efficiency.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center realized that the sufficiency economic philosophy used in the operation of the university could benefit the academic service work for the Bang Noi Floating Market community and believed that will achieve success that is truly wealthy and sustainable according to the principle of sufficiency economy.
