Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Center Cooperates with the Partners at the Ban Yai Phaeng Sub-district Level, Samut Songkhram Province to Establish Big Data System According to Rajabhat University Strategy for Local Development Strengthening Communities in Sustainable Self-management and Education in Accordance with the Royal Privilege of Education of King Rama 10

                    On 15 November, 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University along with Mr. Eakkachon Noyngern, Chief of the Office, personnel, and villagers in Moo 1 and 2, Yai Phaeng Sub-district, Samut Songkhram Province went to the area to survey the well-being of the people to set up a Big Data system according to Rajabhat University Strategy for local development strengthening communities in sustainable self-management and education in accordance with the royal privilege of education of King Rama 10.

                   The activity started at 09.00 hr. while Mr. Eakkachon Noyngern, Chief of the Office reported the objectives of the 3rd year activity of the sub-district Big Data system development project in the province. Later, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center said the opening remarks and gave lectures on academic health services to the public. It was honored by Mr. Jinwara Sripuangpetch as a speaker.

                The purpose of the project is to develop a Big Data system at the sub-district level and to strengthen the strength of the local community in sustainable self-management with the principle of area-based development. One of the most important methods for developing strengths is the management of knowledge about a "local dataset", which is an existing dataset under action produced by each local community. It has been demonstrated in the usefulness of the information "Knowing the status, seeing potential of social capital in the area", which is the key to the basis of local development to lead to the Sustainable Development Goals of the development of sub-district information system in Samut Songkhram Province. An aggregate data set was compiled for showing the status of the district in 5 aspects: social, economic, environmental, health. and political and governance in the area. An overall data set showing community potentials, i.e. grouping work and activities of social capital in local communities towards development goals. On this occasion, we would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Wuttichai Yamkhoksung, Bang Khonthi District Sheriff, Mr. Prasert Saithongkham, Village Chief, and Ms. Darunee Jaiueafuea, the Headperson of Ban Yai Phaeng Subdistrict, Samut Songkhram Province for highly facilitating in exploring the area of Ban Yai Phaeng Subdistrict.
