A Study of Visual Art Concept Resulting Visual Art Teaching Process : A Case Study of Aree Soothipunt

          This research is conducted with the objectives to study the Visual Art concept of Aree Soothipunt, and to analyze the effect of this concept in the teaching and learning process of visual art education. The researcher has accumulated data and information in form of documentation as well as field work to compile the body of knowledge by means of descriptive analysis as follows: 1) Profound interview and Participation in Aree Soothipunt's lectures, seminars and training in various places from February 2015 to July 2016 2) Observation with and without participation 3) To study documents, books read and written by Aree Soothipunt as driving mechanism to his concept. 4) To Interview those who have been transferred knowledge and concept by Aree Soothipunt, and other academics in visual art circle in order to acquire others' opinions towards Aree Soothipunt in different aspects. The result of the research, the visual art concept of Aree Soothipunt and its effect on the teaching and learning of visual art education can be concluded as follows: 1. Teaching and learning should focus on learners (child center) 2.Human has no instinct and must be taught 3.It's the process of Thinking and Practicing or Doing that creates artistic experience. The experience connects sensible thoughts with reflective thinking of learners to come to definition – Art 4. Learning and Teaching should take place in the most natural way as in Neo drawing and Painting activity.
