
The purposes of this research are 1) To study State and Development Direction of the SBM (SBM: School-Based Management) Schools under Bangkok Subordination, Central Bangkok Group 2)To study State and Development Direction of the SBM Schools under Bangkok Subordination, Central Bangkok Group, focusing on targeted research samples of 366 school administrators and teachers in total, under Stratified Random Sampling (SRS) method. This study employed a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data includes frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation.
The
research discovers: 1) The state of
management of the SBM schools under
Bangkok subordination, Central Bangkok
Group scored in a
“Much”level in all 3
aspects; decentralization, participatory
administration and good governance. 2)
The direction of development under SBM
of schools under Bangkok subordination,
Central Bangkok Group reveals as
follows; (1) Decentralization; the
schools should identically divide into 4
departments upon knowledge and
capability of its personnel in charging
in each department by issuing an
appointment notice and creating a clear
management structure. School
administrators should accept the
decision and expression of the personal
in charge, created courage and morale to
school’s personnel, quick and
rapidly allocated the budget for
management and procured and facilitated
in any other activity arrangement both
inside and outside the schools. (2)
Participatory management; the schools
should provide knowledge for school
educational committees or related
networks to take a part in the
management in school and informed
parents or involving persons about
benefits to students in
cooperating
with school. (3) Good governance; the
schools should systematically apply the
principles of good governance into their
management and brought the PDCA system
for school internal management.
