
The study aims to study context and theories of philosophy of sufficiency economy in self-immunity for applying through design creativity of rattan chairs. The samplings of this research were 100 community souvenir product creators who were trained in enhancing potential in creativity of design. Three product design specialists evaluated the applicability of creative design of rattan chairs in the field of immunity according to philosophy of sufficiency economic. The research reveals the followings: 1.) Product design principles had associated with philosophy of sufficiency economy in all four essential basics: moderation, reasonableness, risk management and self-immunity. 2.) The result of developed product evaluation by product design specialists disclosed that all developed products had higher potential in creativity according to philosophy of sufficiency economy in dimension of self-immunity with total average 0.40.
