The search for the direction to create artistic work from interdisciplinary to use as a stress-release intervention for first-jobbers in an urbanized environment is the main objective of this research. This research is a mixed-method research of qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research methodology of this research includes the study of related information and literatures, the data collection from sampling group using close-ended questionnaire with ranking order and rating scale questions as a research instrument, and the validation of the questionnaire with 50 tested and reviewed by 7 experts in the field of Fine and Applied Arts. The questionnaire then get distributed to 100 first-jobbers aged between 24-35 years old who work in central business district (CBD) areas of Bangkok. The methodology also covers the analysis of the collected data and the conclusion which leads to the direction to create artistic work from interdisciplinary as a stress-release intervention for first-jobbers in an urbanized environment.
The conclusion from the research indicates direction to create artistic work from interdisciplinary as a stress-release intervention for first-jobbers in 4 main parts. First, the direction to choose artistic disciplines to use in the interdisciplinary process; 4 disciplines including Fine Arts, Creative Arts, Music, and Performing Arts are selected to be used in the process. Second, the direction to organize the proportion in combining 4 artistic disciplines together; Music will be use in the largest proportion, following by Fine Arts and Creative Arts, and linking all 3 disciplines together with Performing Arts. Third, the direction to search for the content of the artistic work; the content of the work comes from 2 directions, directly from the first-jobbers and from the social context research. Forth, the direction of media and communication channels usage; online media through social network applications is the main media and communication channel to distribute the artistic intervention work to the first-jobbers and the offline media namely ambient advertising in the workers surrounded environment is an appropriate media for communication.
