Botanical characteristics
Stem: shrub, 1-2 m tall, smooth bark.
Leaves: Single leaves arranged opposite. The design is alternating perpendicularly, oval-shaped, 4-6 m wide, 8-12 cm long, with pointed leaf tips and bases. The edge of the leaf is wavy. The leaves are patterned and come in many colors. It is called according to its color and speckled appearance, for example, gold leaf is green leaf. There are dark yellow inserts along the edges of the leaves. Silver leaves are green leaves with white or yellow inserts in the middle of the leaves. In the notch are dark green or greenish-brown leaves. There is a pink insert in the middle of the leaf.
Flowers: Flowers cluster at the tip of the shoot, purple-red flowers, petals joined together to form a tube, 2 stamens.
Fruit: The dry pod splits into 2 halves, oval-shaped, and the tip of the pod has a pointed lobe.
