Botanical characteristics

The tree is about 8 m tall and branches into small stems. Not very large, smooth, gray-brown in color.

Leaves: Single, arranged alternately along the stem. The leaves are oval-shaped, with pointed tips and bases. Width 2.5-6.3 cm., length 7.6-15.2 cm., green in color. Petiole 1.2 cm long.

Flowers: Single flowers, blooming in leaf axils, hanging downwards. There are 2 layers, 3 petals per layer. The outer petals are Longer than the inner petals They are greenish yellow with 3 calyx petals.

The fruit is round-shaped, approximately 7.6- 10.0 cm. in size, with a rough surface and a convex round cavity. Inside, there is a soft white flesh with many seeds. Ripe fruit has a sweet taste.
