Assessment Model of Research Promotion Process for Local Development of Rajabhat Universities

        The objectives of this research and development are 1) to study factors and indicators of research promotion process for local development of Rajabhat universities, The research populations were 40 professors of Rajabhat universities 2) to create assessment model of research promotion process for local development of Rajabhat universities with regard to the creation of assessment model, the researcher applied concepts of Nevo (Nevo, 1983), William (William R. Tash, 2006), and SirichaiKanjanawasee 2009)and, 3) to study the efficiency of assessment model of research promotion process for local development of Rajabhat universities.The experiment of assessment was conducted by applying assessment model into one Rajabhat university. The research results can be concluded as follows: The factors and indicators of research promotion process for local development consisted of 5 factors and 50 indicators, in which the 50 indicators included 8 indicators of promotion process for research question development, 5 indicators of the promotion process research design learning, 27 indicators of promotion process for supporting research operations, 6 indicators of promotion process for supporting the potentiality of research dissemination, and 4 indicators of promotion process for responding to local’s needs. All of these factors were able to explain the variance of variables of research promotion process for local development at the percentage of 69.66. The model of research promotion process for local development consisted of 5 main factors which are 1) assessment‘s target, 2) scope of assessment, 3) assessment operation, 4) assessment’s results judgment, and 5) report of assessment results. And regarding the search for the efficiency of assessment model of research promotion process for local development. In four aspects, it was found that the accuracy and correctness of the model is at the highest level, and the utility, feasibility, and appropriateness of the model are at the high level.
