The Comparative Study of Knowledge Management Styles and Organizational Culture of Private Organizations

      The research title is “The Comparative Study of Knowledge Management Styles and Organizational Culture of Private Organizations”. The research objectives are to study knowledge management styles and organizational culture, to compare the knowledge management styles between private organizations and to study the relationship between knowledge management styles and organizational culture. This research is quantitative research and survey research. A questionnaire was used as the tools in this research. The samplings for this study were the 520 samples which sent to respondents but received 256 samples (49.23%). The statistics were used namely; frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation (S.D), t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation at 0.05 level of significant. The research results found that the mean of both explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge of private organizations were high ( X = 3.83 and X = 3.60, respectively). And the mean of all of dimensions of organizational culture were also high (Involvement, X = 3.73; Consistency, X = 3.59; Adaptability, X = 3.80; Mission, X = 3.83). The comparison between knowledge management styles and organizational culture of private organizations found that knowledge management styles between private organizations was the different at 0.05 level of significant (Sig. = 0.027), however organizational culture between private organizations was not the different at 0.05 level of significant (Sig. = 0.351). The correlation analysis between knowledge management styles and organizational culture of private organizations, the study found that knowledge management styles and organizational culture was correlation at 0.05 level of significant (Sig. = 0.000). The research results show that knowledge management styles and organizational culture of private organizations can help them to achieve their effectiveness.
