On May 12nd, 2019 at 05.30 am, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led the personnel team to participate in the 2nd time Run For Child, the charity run to support meals for students in need in primary schools in Samut Songkhram Province. It also encouraged personnel to exercise to focus on promoting physical health, to be more enthusiastic in work, and to have a better quality of life. On this occasion, Mr. Prachin Thansirisin, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, presided over the event at the front of Samut Songkhram City Hall.

Mr. Pichet Phopakdee, Samut Songkhram Provincial Educator, informed the purposes of this activity that it was a charity run to earn money to help support breakfast and dinner for the poor primary school students in the area of Samut Songkhram Province and help them to have a better quality of life and to grow up to be a quality population in Samut Songkhram Province and the nation in the future. The revenue in organizing events, after deducting expenses, was allocated to primary schools in Samut Songkhram Province.

This running event was attended by Mr. Narong Paewpholsong, Inspector General of the Ministry of Education, Colonel Jiraroj Kongwari, Deputy Director of Internal Security in the Kingdom of Samut Songkhram, Heads of government agencies, private sectors and more than 2,500 people inside and outside Samut Songkhram. The competition would be divided into 3 categories, namely, walking for health with distance of 3.3 kilometers, running distance for 5.4 kilometers, and running distance for 10.3 kilometers. Those who entered the finish line in each age group received trophies No. 1 - 3 in all age groups.
