Learning Styles of Students at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University
The objective of this research was to study learning styles of students at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. A sample of 80 were selected from the population of 95 English-major students who were studying in the third year of the academic year 2015. The table of Krejcie and Morgan was used for the random sample. A rating scale questionnaire with the reliability of .89 developed by using Grasha-Reichmann student Learning Styles Survey was used to collect the data. Percentage, mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data.
The result of this research showed that students agreed with dependent, collaborative, participant and independent learning styles at a high level while they agreed with competitive and avoidant learning styles at a moderate level. In conclusion, students agreed with various learning styles at a high level. Therefore, teachers should have a variety of teaching styles and learning activities based on students’ different learning styles.
