
This
pre-experimental research, presented by
one -shot case study design, It aimed to
study the effects of arts and crafts
activities for Rajvithi Home for Girls
in Bangkok. The target group was
teenagers between the age of 15 and 18
years old living in Rajvithi Home for
Girls in Bangkok. Purposive sampling
method was used
for the informant
selection which was a classroom with 15
students. The research tools were 8 arts
and crafts activities consisting of 1)
chic hair band, 2) hair pin, 3) camphor,
4) tulipshaped key ring, 5) sandals, 6)
decoupage bag, 7) coin wrapping and 8)
bead garland. Data collection was
performed by a performance skill test
and the target group's satisfacation
on the arts and crafts activities. Data
were analyzed by descriptive
statistics.
The results were found as follows:For the performance skill test, female teenagers aged 15-18 years old got the good scores. For the target group's satisfaction on the arts and crafts activities, female teenagers aged 15-18 years old satisfied with arts and crafts, lecturer, duration, materials, arts and crafts activities and activity topics at high levels.
