The purposes of this research were
1) To study the level of participation of the local people in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province.
2) To study the development of local government in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province.
3) To study the relationship between the development of the local people and the development of local government in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province.
4) To study the suggestions about the development of the local people in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province. The samples of this research were 397 by collect
data. The five levels scale. The statistics of analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation. And Pearson correlation coefficient.

         The results were as follows:
1. Participation to the development of the local people in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province generally be low level bus the level of the separation were 1 level and 3 level by the average of three descending order, include the participation of the beneficiaries. The participation in decision making. And the participation in the evaluation respectively. 

2. The local development of people in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province were the lowest level. Separation was low level of all sides by the average of three descending order, including the maintenance of the local arts, custom and culture. A good local education and the public utilities respectively.

3. Participation has a positive relationship with the local development. The side of the highest correlation, including the participation of practice the minor's participation on in decision making and the participation in the evaluation. Statistically significant at .01 level

4. Suggestions about contributing to develop the local people in Bangnamprieo district, Chachoengsao province. So the development of local government and the other offices should be focus of the development process and find the ways to contribute of citizens in the local development by providing opportunities for citizens to participate. Decisions of practice participation in the benefits and participated in the evaluation will affect to the administration in the principle of good governance effectively.
