Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, assigned the university’s Samut Songkhram Campus—acting as the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) provincial representative—to lead an initiative. The team was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Wat Ploysri from the Research and Development Institute. Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University participated in the event titled "Enhancing the Potential of Local Cooperation Networks to Drive the Regional Economy through Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation: Collaboration among the Public Sector, Private Sector, and Entrepreneurs," aiming to promote and strengthen cooperation among higher education institutions, government agencies, and the private sector. and local entrepreneurs aim to apply knowledge, technology, science, research, and innovation to enhance the area's potential and tangibly drive the regional economy.

           In this regard, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, received a plaque of honor recognizing its role as a frontline institution for the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The award was presented by Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

           This award reflects the university's role and operations in fostering collaboration with various local sectors, as well as its efforts to leverage its capabilities in higher education, science, research, and innovation to support the development of Samut Songkhram Province.

          Participation in this event represents a significant opportunity to enhance operational capabilities and leverage the experience of the MHESI Regional Network. It also fosters collaboration between the public and private sectors to drive tangible regional development, ultimately leading to the continuous improvement of the economy, society, and quality of life for the people of Samut Songkhram Province.

          The meeting was held on September 27–28, 2026, at the Ratchathewi Grand Ballroom, Asia Hotel Bangkok.
