Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus—led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus—assigned Ms. Supanrai Sanguansai, Acting Head of the Buildings and Facilities Section (General Affairs Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office), to attend the event. “Workshop to Drive Membership Applications for School Botanical Gardens under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (2026)” — aimed at fostering knowledge, understanding, and operational guidelines regarding school botanical garden membership applications, as well as driving plant genetic conservation efforts to ensure they are carried out effectively and yield tangible results.

           Presided over by Mrs. Angkhana Numwat, the Samut Songkhram Provincial Education Officer, the workshop provided an opportunity for participating agencies and educational institutions to exchange operational approaches and foster an understanding of their roles and involvement in the conservation of plant genetic resources and natural resources. This initiative aims to establish a collaborative network dedicated to conservation and the sustainable utilization of resources.

        The said meeting was held on Saturday, 12 September 2026, at 08:30 hours, at the Fa Prathan Phon Meeting Room, Primary Educational Service Area Office, Mueang District, Samut Songkhram Province.
