
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus—led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus, accompanied by Mr. Ekkachon Noingeon, Director of the General Affairs Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office, and staff from the Samut Songkhram Campus Office Participated in the Buddhist chanting ceremony and alms-offering ceremony to dedicate merit on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and National Mother's Day, 12 August 2026.
Mr. Chayachai Saeng-in, Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, presided over the ceremony, joined by the Deputy Governor, government officials, representatives from the judiciary, military, and police, as well as state enterprise employees, private sector organizations, students, and members of the general public, all participating in unison.
Furthermore, the Governor of Samut Songkhram led the ceremony participants to their designated alms-offering stations to collectively offer rice and dried food to 59 monks—representing five local temples: Wat Chulamani, Wat Bang Cha Kreng, Wat Pom Kaeo, Wat Si Sattha Tham, and Wat Lat Peng—as an act of merit-making dedicated to the monarchy.
The ceremony was held on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, at 07:00 hrs, at the Phiphat Mongkhon Auditorium, Samut Songkhram Provincial Administrative Organization, Samut Songkhram Province.
