       Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus—led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus (acting in the capacity of the MHESI Frontline Operations Unit for Samut Songkhram Province), together with university staff—is actively promoting learning and the conservation of local resources by serving as guest speakers for special lectures. and the moderator of the workshop on driving learning through the local "Bang Chang chili"—a crop of significant economic, social, and cultural value to Samut Songkhram Province—aimed at raising awareness and fostering learning based on local wisdom to achieve sustainable development.

         Mr. Ranatchai Phumcharoen, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, presided over the project's opening ceremony, attended by heads of government agencies and officials from both the public and private sectors.

      This knowledge-sharing initiative focuses on disseminating information regarding the history, distinctive characteristics, cultivation, and genetic conservation of the Bang Chang chili. It also covers strategies for leveraging the chili to create added value and develop community products, thereby integrating academic knowledge with local wisdom to foster learning opportunities for students, the general public, and interested individuals.

        This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, aiming to promote lifelong learning, access to quality knowledge, and the preservation of local wisdom through a learning process that connects educational institutions, communities, and partner networks.

       The meeting was held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Khum Phaya Sor 1 Meeting Room, Khum Phaya Sor Resort, Lat Yai Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram Province.
