            Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, in collaboration with the Samut Songkhram Provincial Red Cross Chapter, organized a mobile blood donation drive for the year 2026. The event was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus, accompanied by Mr. Ekanarin Piyapanyamongkol, Acting Director of the Samut Songkhram Campus Office, and Mr. Ekkachon Noingeon. The Director of the General Affairs Division and staff of the Samut Songkhram Campus Office welcomed the mobile blood donation team from the Samut Songkhram Red Cross Chapter and Somdej Phra Phutthaloetla Hospital, led by Mrs. Natsuda Wongsuwan, Deputy President of the Samut Songkhram Provincial Red Cross Chapter. To continue the spirit of sharing and extending opportunities to others, executives, faculty members, and students from the College of Nursing and Health and the College of Allied Health Sciences—alongside personnel from the Samut Songkhram Campus Office and affiliated units—united to donate blood, thereby passing on the gift of life across various blood groups. for patients in need and to replenish blood reserves to meet demand. The event was held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the first-floor lobby of the Phadung Cheewa Building (College of Nursing and Health), Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus.

             The mobile blood donation team invites healthy individuals with no risk factors to donate blood. These donations will help maintain reserves for emergency patients, those awaiting surgery, and patients with blood disorders who require blood transfusions. Prospective donors are advised to ensure they are physically prepared for the donation. Ensure you get at least 6 hours of sleep. You must weigh 48 kilograms or more and be free from certain underlying conditions, such as epilepsy, heart disease, or a history of chest pain. You may eat and drink normally, but please avoid high-fat foods and refrain from smoking and consuming alcohol.
