
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus—led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus—is advancing the university's development in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), placing a strong emphasis on fostering equality.and ensuring equal access to services for all by improving and developing ramps for wheelchair users, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and individuals with limited mobility, thereby enabling convenient, safe, and barrier-free access to the university’s buildings, facilities, and services.
These initiatives reflect the university's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment grounded in Universal Design principles. This approach enables people with disabilities, the elderly, and the general public to effectively share public spaces, reduces accessibility barriers, and promotes a good quality of life in a sustainable manner.
Furthermore, the development of accessibility infrastructure aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities)—which aim to foster an equitable society and ensure equal access to services and facilities for all, as well as SDG 4 (Quality Education), which supports universal access to education without discrimination.
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, remains committed to continuously developing its grounds and facilities to accommodate all user groups under the "Accessible University" concept. This initiative aims to create a safe, welcoming learning environment that leaves no one behind—a vital foundation for future sustainable social development.
