
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus—led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus—assigned Mr. Ekkachon Noingeon, Director of the General Affairs Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office, along with Ms. Kannika Leesuwan, General Administration Officer, and Mr. Pongporn Paochan, Technician, to carry out the task. Participated in the wreath-laying ceremony and the religious merit-making ceremony dedicated to His Majesty King Phra Phutthaloetla Naphalai (King Rama II) on the anniversary of his passing. Also took part in the *Pha Pa* (forest robe offering) ceremony to raise funds for the restoration of the historic site at Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram, in order to honor His Majesty’s boundless benevolence and demonstrate loyalty to the monarchy.
The event featured religious rites and a ceremony to pay royal homage, conducted with due solemnity and honor. Mr. Chayachai Saeng-in, Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, presided over the ceremony, joined by the provincial deputy governors, heads of government agencies, representatives from educational institutions, and local residents, all gathering in unison to commemorate the invaluable royal contributions made to the nation. Thai religion, arts, culture, and literature—which continue to provide significant value to the present day—as well as the promotion of the conservation of local and national arts, cultural traditions, and invaluable historical sites; this fosters a sense of loyalty and encourages participation in the ongoing preservation of cultural heritage.
The ceremony was held on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, at 09:00 a.m. at Wat Amphawan Chetiyaram, Amphawa Subdistrict, Amphawa District, Samut Songkhram Province.
