
On Monday, June 29, 2026, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus—led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President for Samut Songkhram Campus—assigned Mr. Ekkachon Noingeon, Director of the General Affairs Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office Led the staff of the Buildings and Facilities Section, General Affairs Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office, in welcoming a study visit delegation from the Research and Development Institute, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, under the project “Enhancing the competitiveness of the mud crab business across the supply chain through innovation based on the Bio-Economy concept”—an initiative highlighted during a visit to the Mangrove Plant Learning Center for Medical Applications. This center serves as a hub for learning about mangrove conservation and sustainable resource utilization, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and the study of research, development, and the transformation of local wisdom into medical and health-related applications.
During this study visit, the delegation attended a briefing on the concepts and objectives behind the establishment of the learning center. Topics covered included mangrove plant conservation, the aquaculture of various crab species, research into the properties of medicinal plants within the mangrove ecosystem, and strategies for applying this knowledge to benefit the community and society. Additionally, the group toured the center's demonstration areas and plant collection plots.
Welcoming this study visit delegation presents an excellent opportunity to establish academic cooperation networks between organizations and serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and best practices. These efforts will ultimately lead to the development of research and innovations that support sustainable local development.
