
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, sent representatives from the Student Organization and student clubs of the Samut Songkhram Campus to participate in the Rajabhat Young Leadership Program 2026 (RYL) student leadership camp. The 3rd event, organized by the Student Affairs Division, Student Activities and Alumni Affairs Section, aimed to promote and develop student leadership potential in various dimensions. It was held from May 11-15, 2026 at the Agricultural Museum in honor of His Majesty the King, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province.
We were highly honored to have General Daopong Rattanasuwan, Privy Councillor, and Air Chief Marshal Chom Rungsawang, Privy Councillor, preside over the opening and closing ceremonies of the project. They provided policy guidance and encouragement to student leaders from all 38 Rajabhat Universities nationwide, as well as the Chairman of the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities of Thailand (CPRU) and university presidents. Executives from all 38 Rajabhat Universities also participated in this event, demonstrating a significant display of collaboration among Rajabhat communities nationwide. The main objective of the project (RYL 2026) is to
• Leadership Development: Focusing on cultivating modern leadership skills with a sense of public service.
• Knowledge Exchange: Building a collaborative network among student representatives from all regions.
• Social Engineering: Fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills for sustainable local development.
During the event, students participated in workshops and activities aimed at enhancing soft skills such as leadership, effective communication, teamwork, analytical thinking and problem-solving, as well as self-management and organizational management. They also gained valuable knowledge that can be applied to their studies, extracurricular activities, and personal development to become effective leaders in the future.
Participating in this camp is another important opportunity to broaden perspectives, build collaborative networks, and exchange experiences among student leaders from diverse institutions. This will lead to the development of more effective and creative student activities.
