
On Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 9:30 AM, at Wat Phet Samut Worawihan, Mae Klong Subdistrict, Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut Songkhram Province, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus. Led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, Mr. Chaiwat Thukhammee, Head of the Procurement Division, Finance Department, was assigned the task. And Ms. Kannika Leesuwan, General Administration Officer, Property and Revenue Division, Central Office, Samut Songkhram Campus, also participated in the memorial service. (100 Days) Offering merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
The ceremony was presided over by Phra Ratchasamut Wachirasophon, Advisor to the Ecclesiastical Governor of Region 15 and Abbot of Wat Phet Samut Worawihan, as the head of the monastic side, and Mr. Chayachai Saeng-in, Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, as the head of the lay side, who lit incense and candles to worship the Triple Gem. Light incense and candles, offer a small golden offering, and pay homage to the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Ten monks of high ecclesiastical rank chanted Buddhist prayers and offered funeral robes. Phra Rattanasuthee, the abbot of Wat Rai Khing Royal Monastery, delivered a sermon. Four groups of monks then chanted Dhamma verses.
Then, offerings of traditional Thai gifts were presented to the monks, the funeral shroud was laid, and water was poured as a symbolic act of receiving blessings during the 100-day memorial service. Offering merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the occasion of her 80th birthday, with Mr. Korakod Wongsuwan, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, in attendance. Mr. Ranatthachai Phumcharoen, Deputy Governor of Samut Songkhram Province, along with prosecutors, military personnel, police officers, heads of government departments, civil servants, officials, and citizens of Samut Songkhram Province, all participated in the ceremony.
