
From January 13-16, 2026, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriwibul, The Rector assigned Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice Rector of Samut Songkhram Campus, to the task. Also present were Associate Professor Chaninphong Suksaeng, a faculty member in the Community Public Health Program, College of Allied Health Sciences, and Mr. Noppadol Inyasri, Head of the Office of the College of Nursing and Health. Participated in an academic conference to exchange experiences in the development and management of emergency medical education curricula between educational institutions in Thailand and Japan. Organized by the Thai Society of Emergency Medical Technicians, led by Dr. Jetsadakorn Jenpanichpong, President of the Society, along with Capt. Dr. Atchariya Paengma, Honorary Member and Special Advisor to the Society.
The objective is to provide the management team and curriculum development committee with an understanding of the development of emergency medical systems, as well as the approaches to managing emergency medical education programs in Japan. This is one of the countries with the most advanced emergency medical systems, including education and training for emergency medical personnel, which meets internationally recognized standards. To be applied in the development and management of emergency medical curricula at various educational institutions. This will help produce a sufficient number of qualified emergency medical personnel to meet the needs of Thailand's emergency medical system.
Throughout the four days, the management team, curriculum development committee, and experts visited and exchanged knowledge with the Tokyo Fire Academy of the Tokyo Fire Department, which provides a certificate-level emergency medical training course (7-month course). This includes Kokusai Iryo Fukushi Technical School in Chiba, which offers vocational education (2-year program), as well as Nippon Sport Science University, Kenshidai Campus in Yokohama. And Kokushikan University, Tama Campus in Tama City, Japan, which offers higher education programs (4-year bachelor's degree programs).
