Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, as the front-line representative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation in Samut Songkhram Province, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus. Also present were Mr. Eknarin Piyapanyamongkol, Acting Director of the Samut Songkhram Campus Office, and staff from the Samut Songkhram Campus Office. Participating in an exhibition showcasing health products from Bang Chang chili oil, utilizing plant conservation projects initiated under His Majesty the King's patronage. This is considered a tangible solution to a national problem and will be further developed and showcased at the "National Inventors' Day" exhibition in 2026.
The exhibition was organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), to commemorate the historic day of the royal granting of the invention patent. The "Slow-rotating floating surface aerator" or "Chai Pattana Water Turbine" was dedicated to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the Great, "the Father of Thai Invention," and is a patented invention. Under the royal patronage of Thailand's first monarch, and a world first, the event featured an exhibition showcasing inventions and innovations from government agencies, private sector companies, and Thai and international educational institutions
In addition, Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice Rector of Samut Songkhram Campus, also received a certificate for her presentation. "Health Products from Bang Chang Chili Oil" will also be showcased from January 5-9, 2026 at the BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center, Bang Na, Bangkok.
