The Significance of Loi Krathong

#Loi Krathong is an important Thai tradition held on the full moon night of the 12th lunar month every year. To express gratitude to Mother Ganga, the water that sustains our lives, and to ask for forgiveness for the water that we have used to live throughout the year.

It also helps to float away bad luck and sorrow from life, allowing for a new and positive beginning. It also encourages family and community members to meet and continue to preserve the beautiful Thai culture. ✨
