Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pharmacist Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, along with Mr. Ekanarin Piyapanyamonkol, Acting Director of Samut Songkhram Campus Office. Mr. Eakkachon  Noi-Ngern, Director of the Central Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office, and personnel of the Samut Songkhram Campus Office organized activities on Mahidol Day. "The Father of Modern Medicine in Thailand", with a ceremony to pay tribute to the portrait of His Majesty King Mahidol Adulyadej the Great, the Father of His Majesty the King, along with laying wreaths on behalf of various agencies within the Samut Songkhram campus.

            With Assistant Professor Dr. Pharmacist Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, presiding over the ceremony, along with the executive committee, faculty, staff, Samut Songkhram Campus Office/internal supervision units, and students of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Samut Songkhram Campus participated in the oath of allegiance in front of the portrait of His Majesty King Mahidol Adulyadej the Great, the Father of His Majesty the King. On the occasion of “Mahidol Day”, the anniversary of the death of His Majesty King Mahidol Adulyadej the Great, which falls on September 24 of every year.

            There was also a wreath-laying ceremony led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pharmacist Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, on behalf of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, and Lecturer Dr. Rattana Panriansaen. Deputy Dean for Administration, College of Allied Health Sciences, Representative of the Dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences, and Assistant Professor Dr. Rangsan Marapen, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs Representative of the Dean of the College of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Along with student representatives from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, laying wreaths

             Due to the many royal duties performed for the medical and public health sectors of the country, which are the foundation for strengthening the unity of medical schools and the efficient production of doctors. With the development and progress that is on par with other civilized countries in the future, the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, therefore named this important commemorative day "Mahidol Day". To pay homage and commemorate the great kindness of His Majesty King Mahidol Adulyadej  His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, the father of His Majesty the King, was bestowed the title of “Father of Modern Medicine in Thailan
