On July 31, 2025, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Pharmacist Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, assigned Mr. Ekanarin Piyapanyamonkol to act as Director of the Campus Office.  Samut Songkhram Mr. Ekkachon Noi Ngern, Director of the Central Division, Samut Songkhram Campus Office, faculty and staff, Samut Songkhram Campus Office/internal supervision unit organized a field trip activity. and visit the learning center about medicinal plants and mangrove forest ecosystems within the Samut Songkhram campus area for the second grade students from Samut Songkhram Kindergarten School.

          We were honored by Dr. Udom Arunrat, Director of Samut Songkhram Kindergarten School, along with teachers, presenting a basket of thanks on the occasion of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, organizing a field trip for students on this occasion.

          This activity was organized with the objective of promoting learning outside the classroom, instilling awareness of natural resource conservation, and giving students the opportunity to experience integrated learning processes through participation in activities in 5 learning bases, including:

                       College of Allied Health Sciences Base – Demonstration of herbal powder making and tour of the Thai Traditional and Integrative Medicine Hospital

                      College of Nursing and Health Sciences Base – Take a tour of the virtual laboratory for the practice of students of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

                      Local Plant Learning Center – Learn about native trees and plants in Samut Songkhram Province.

                      Bang Chang Chili and Vegetable Garden – Learn about various plant species and experience growing them in the area.

                      Mangrove Plant Learning Center for Medical Purposes – Study the natural ecosystem surrounding the Samut Songkhram campus, along with environmental conservation activities.

          The atmosphere at the event was joyful, filled with smiles and laughter from the students, who learned through real-world experiences. They also gained knowledge, impressions, and inspiration to learn about science, health, and the environment.

             Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, remains committed to being a learning resource for the community and welcomes visiting groups from various interested agencies throughout the year.
