'Chattra Mongkhon' is an important day when His Majesty the King performs the coronation ceremony and ascends to the throne as the 10th monarch of the Chakri Dynasty. and the Kingdom of Thailand, after His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, is considered an auspicious day for the nation.

         Since the Chatramongkhon Day is set on the same day as the Coronation Day, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun graciously granted permission for this royal ceremony to be held on 4-6 May 2019. The official coronation ceremony was held on May 4, 2019. The following year, it will be considered “Chattra Mongkhon Day”.
