Sunandha Rajabhat University, Samut Songkhram Campus, led by Mr. Ekkachon Noyngern, Director of the General Administration Division at Samut Songkhram Campus, along with Ms. Suphanarai Sa-nguanthai and Mr. Seree Phoolsub, staff members from the Building and Facilities Division, conducted a field operation to renovate the bridge at the entrance of the university, which had been in a state of disrepair. The renovation, which involved the use of asphalt, aims to restore the bridge to a usable condition.

This renovation is part of efforts to improve the campus landscape and enhance safety for faculty, staff, students, and the public who use the roads within the campus. It also elevates the quality of services related to building and facilities management, aligning with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as follows:

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being

The bridge renovation improves safety for faculty, staff, students, and the public, reducing the risk of accidents on the road, which positively impacts health and safety for road users.

The improvement of the campus landscape also creates a safer and more conducive environment for better living conditions.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

The improvement of infrastructure, such as the bridge and roads within the campus, is a significant development that enhances accessibility and safety for everyone.

The use of appropriate materials, such as asphalt, in the bridge repair helps ensure efficient resource use and promotes sustainable infrastructure maintenance.

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

The improvement of the campus environment enhances safety and convenience, contributing to the development of a sustainable community within the university, thus positively impacting the quality of life for everyone using the campus.

The enhancement of the landscape also encourages efficient and sustainable use of the space.

This bridge and landscape renovation not only boosts travel safety but also supports sustainable development in various aspects, including social, environmental, and economic dimensions.
