         On October 4, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Vice President of Samut Songkhram Campus, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, presided over the opening of the project "Suan Sunandha United to Prevent Breast Cancer." The objective of the project is to provide knowledge about breast cancer and self-breast examination to first-year students.
        In the event, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanit Ngoosiri reported on the objectives of the project, which has been continuously promoting awareness about breast cancer since the academic year 2022. He also introduced the advisors of the Thun Rak Club, including Assistant Professor Dr. Pirada Damapong, Associate Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Lecturer Dusanee Boonpitaksakul from the Community Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing and Health.
       This project was organized by the Thun Rak Club Committee at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. In the academic year 2024, the Thun Rak Club has developed student leaders from various faculties to continue and enhance its mission.
Activities within the event included disseminating knowledge about breast cancer and self-breast examination to all first-year students at the university, held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Benjasila Hall, 2nd Floor of the Srisunan Building.
     This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as follows:
           1. Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being - The project focuses on providing knowledge about breast cancer, promoting health and disease prevention among students.
          2. Goal 4: Quality Education - The training and dissemination of knowledge regarding breast cancer supports education in health-related fields.
         3. Goal 5: Gender Equality - Providing knowledge about breast cancer supports women's health care and empowers women to take care of their own health.
