The objectives of this study were 1) to develop an effective curriculum administration model for large-sized secondary schools in the upper north-eastern region and 2) to verify the developed model. The study was conducted in 4 phases. The first phase was the study of model components by an analysis of relevant documents and studies, an interview with 9 experts and a case study of 2 outstanding schools. The second phase was the model development with the application of Delphi Technique. The tool employed in the first round was an open-end questionnaire while a 5-level rating scale questionnaire was used in the second and third rounds. Data collected from the first round was analysed by using frequency while the ones from the second and third rounds were analysed by finding the median and interquartile range. The third phase was the verification of the developed model by 783 stakeholders. The tool used was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. Statistics used were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The fourth phase was the verification of the developed model by expert group meeting of 7 experts. The tool used was a questionnaire. Data was then analysed by summarizing the opinions of the experts in the form of frequency. The findings could be concluded as follows. 1) The author's effective curriculum administration model for large-sized secondary schools in the upper North-eastern region comprised 3 main components, namely 1) supporting factors on curriculum administration, which could be further classified into 7 aspects; 2) curriculum administration procedure, which consisted of 4 steps, and 3) effectiveness of curriculum management, which could be divided into 3 aspects. 2) The suitability of the author's developed effective curriculum administration model for large-sized secondary schools in the upper North-eastern region was at a high level, both in an overall and in each element. The mean of each component could be prioritized as follows: curriculum administration procedure, effectiveness of curriculum management and supporting factors on curriculum administration.
