"Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University" Samut Songkhram Center Organizes an Activity to Pay Homage to King Rama IX on 5 December 2021

On 3 December 2021 at the hall, 1st floor, 500-seat building, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led the management team, instructors, personnel, and students organize a memorial ceremony to offer royal merit and a volunteer activity to develop mangrove seedlings on the occasion of the royal birthday of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, Thai National Day, and National Father's Day to show loyalty and gratitude.

The 5th of December of every year is considered as an important day that Thai people know as "National Father's Day" which coincides with the birthday of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of the Chakri Dynasty.

The key objective of the activity is to create awareness in the conservation of nature and forest resources on the occasion of the royal birthday. It also increases the forest area, increases the shadiness and balance of the natural ecosystem for the area within the education center, and to be a model for the community in promoting the planting of mangrove seedlings and the plants that are important and have economic value to the community.
