
On January 4th, 2021, at 01.30pm, Mr. Eakkachon Noyngern, Chief of the Samut Songkhram Education Center Office, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University attended the meeting of relevant government agencies to follow up on the prevention and control of COVID-19 at Bang Khonthi Meeting Room, Samut Songkhram City Hall, with Mr. Charas Bunnasa, Samut Songkhram Provincial Governor, presided over the meeting.
The Governor has commanded intensive measures to proactively publicize the people, establishments, educational institutions, department stores, activities with a large number of people, to follow surveillance guidelines, take DMHT measures, do not put the shield down, prevent COVID-19 to oneself and others, keep distance, wear a surgical mask or fabric mask before going out, keep it clean with hand sanitizer or alcohol, measure the temperature, use the Thai Chana application, avoid traveling to areas affected by the pandemic, follow the order of Samut Songkhram Province strictly. Those returning from high-risk areas must report and take care of themselves. If there are any abnormal symptoms, notify the public health officer in order to carry out further investigations and surveillance measures.
In this regard, proactive measures have been taken to screen migrant workers in the area. There have been nearly 1,000 pending results. The province increased measures on illegal gambling in the highly restrictive areas. Any activity must have spacing measures and request permission from government agencies by asking for cooperation of the village headman and the district. The province also asked the chiefs of government agencies to watch over the personnel in the office if they have traveled to a vulnerable area, they must work from home and quarantine themselves for 14 days.
