On July 30th, 2020, Asst.Prof.Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, the director, along with Prof. Narin Kakatum, Chief of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Major along with plan and policy analysts participated in the workshop reviewing the Samut Songkhram Province Development Plan for the year 2018 -2022 and the preparation of the Annual Government Action Plan for the Fiscal Year 2022 at The Grace Amphawa Resort Hotel, Muang Samut Songkhram District. Mr. Charas Boonnasa, Provincial Governor of Samut Songkhram was the opening president to clarify the criteria and guidelines for the latest provincial development plan review and to present the results of the preliminary analysis study in the review of plans and preparation of the annual budget plan in 2022 under the analysis of the provincial potential of 8 aspects: overall economy, agriculture, industry, trade, tourism, society, natural resources and environment, and security. The Samut Songkhram Provincial Governor informed that the preparation of a provincial development plan is of great importance to the provincial development towards sustainability. The project plan must be consistent with national economic and social development guidelines, government policy and the problems and needs of the people in Samut Songkhram Province, including the connection of the plan with the direction of the National Strategic Plan, the Regional Plan, and Provincial Group Plan, under the analysis of the province's potential.
