On January 30th, 2019 at 1.30 PM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, director of the Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, along with Mr. Ariyamet Siriruekrattana, General Administration Officer, attended Samut Songkhram Drug Prevention and Suppression Center board and sub-committee Meeting on monitoring the prevention and solution of drug problems in Samut Songkhram Province. The heads of government agencies and related agencies also attended the meeting to acknowledge the drug situation of the Office of the Narcotics Control Board, Region 7, that reported the situation of drug addiction in Samut Songkhram and the implementation plan for the prevention of drug abuse treatment in 2019.
Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, launched a campaign against drugs and randomly examined drug risk groups in fiscal year 2019, together with the Center for Narcotics Control and Suppression in Samut Songkhram province on January 15th, 2019 according to government policy and to prevent drug problems among adolescents, which is considered a target group that has a lot of opportunity to get involved with drugs.
The result appeared to be 0. No drug substance found in the number of 133 random students (2 boys and 131 girls). The result was reported to the meeting for acknowledgment and is in the process of putting in the Nispa system.
