
On December 28th, 2018 at 9.00 AM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, director of the Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, along with the personnel attending the ceremony of placing a fresh flower bush as a royal offering and pay royal praise in honor of King Taksin. Mrs. Sukanda Worachetbancha, governor of Samut Songkhram, presided over the ceremony and brought officers, state employees, associations, foundations, students, teachers, merchants, and people to place the shrine to the royal temple on the 28th of December. It is also a crowned day and a memorial day of "Taksin Maharaj" and according to Thai history on 28th of December 1768 which is the day of King Taksin and the place where he had the victory in the battle was at Bang Kung camp, the place that King's Monument located in Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram Province.
