Director of "Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University", Samut Songkhram Center Organized the Meeting to Prepare for Collecting Big Data and Developing Local Communities and Assigned Personnel on Measures of Prevention and Inhibition of COVID-19

                               On January 28th, 2021, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University presided over the project meeting to collect big data storage. Before the agenda, Mr. Eakkachon Noyngern, Chief of the Office, along with personnel of the center, congratulated and gave a bouquet of flowers to Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang who was appointed to be the Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

                               Then, the meeting prepared the project of collecting the big data at the service areas to be used as a tool for decision-making in local development planning according to the role and potential of Rajabhat University. The summary of the analysis results on the need for local development plans and information on the potential of communities in Samut Songkhram Province, university community building for local development, and development of research topics and academic services, were summarized by visiting 3 sub-districts in Samut Songkhram Province, namely Don Manora Subdistrict, Bang Khonthi District, total for 980 households, Bang Ja Kreng Subdistrict, and Khlong Khon Subdistrict, for total 1,182 households.

                           Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Center, discussed the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand that has not yet been resolved. Although the Work From Home policy has run for almost a month and will have to return to work normally on February 1st, 2021, COVID-19 may be with us for a while. What will keep everyone safe from this crisis is learning how to live with COVID-19 understandably by following disease prevention measures and realizing the importance of protecting yourself - put on a mask, keep distance, wash hands often with alcohol gel or soap, do not go to the risky area. If it is necessary to be out of the house, take a shower and wash hair after getting back. Everyone should take care of oneself and family members, and take responsibility for society to get through this situation together, at Thong Chakri Conference Room (65 seats), 5th Floor, Health Rehabilitation Operation Building.
