         On October 23rd, 2020, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Acting Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the Buddha chanting ceremony on the occasion of the death day of King Chulalongkorn on October 23rd, 2020. Mr. Charas Boonnasa, Samut Songkhram Governor was the president to light candles for worshiping in front of the royal image of King Chulalongkorn while Phra Maha Sittikarn, Assistant Abbot of Phet Samut Worawihan Phra Aram Luang Temple, chaired the Buddha chanting mantra, consisting of 11 chants meaning to teach people to be mindful, to consider the impermanence of all things, to express their loyalty to the monarchy which is the main institution of the nation, and to offer offerings as a royal charity and in commemoration of the royal grace of King Chulalongkorn including the whole royal families of Thailand. At the end, Phra Raja Vachiradilok, The Dean of Mueang Samut Songkhram District led participants to pray in the ceremony.
