On December 21st, 2020 at 03.00pm, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Acting Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, attended the auspicious lightening ceremony from His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch who was the president for the Ministry of Culture and was invited to carry out a prayer activity over the year presented to the royal charity. Mr. Charas Bunnasa, Samut Songkhram Governor was the secular president and the person who brought the auspicious fire for prayer over the year for auspicious thing throughout Samut Songkhram Province for the year 2021, offering to Phra Thep Sumethi, Samut Songkhram Primate and President of Thammayut, and Abbot of Ketkaram, Phra Aram Luang Temple, at Ketkaram Temple, Rongheeb Subdistrict, Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram Province in order to give to the abbots of various temples to light auspicious candles in the cross-year prayer ceremony for holiness, glory, success, unity, which will create morale and encouragement to Buddhists who participate in the ceremony. For this year's event, the Government entrusted to The Ministry of Culture and related agencies to organize activities for the royal charity of all the Kings and blessing His Majesty the King, Her Majesty the Queen, and the royal family, and for enhancing happiness to the people and the country on the New Year festival.
