
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Acting Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University assigned personnel of the education center to jointly conduct a survey of community adaptation in the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, to survey of shops in 3 districts in Samut Songkhram Province, namely Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Mae Klong Subdistrict, Municipality/ Amphawa District Amphawa, Yee San Sub-district, Municipal Area, Non-municipality/ and Bang Khonthi District Bang Nok Khaek Subdistrict, Bang Nok Khaek Subdistrict, Kradangnga District, Municipal Area, Non Municipal Area. The number of households that were sampled was 53,367, which were randomized by 400 questionnaires during January 21 - 22, 2021 at 09.00am - 04.00pm. The results found that the trading business in Samut Songkhram Province is in a bad situation. Less tourists and visitors come to buy products, causing less money and income. However, the store merchants still need to open every day and try to adapt to this situation, as also emphasized that they still want the situation to be the same as soon as possible. As for the prevention of the second pandemic, the entrepreneurs are willing to adapt and fully help the government to prevent the pandemic.
