On May 28th, 2019 at 11.00 am, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, Director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, attended the 2nd National Public Relations Subcommittee Meeting in 2019 to drive the 5th National Public Relations Plan and Policy (2016-2021) to the practice at the provincial level. Mrs. Sukanda Worachetbancha, Governor of Samut Songkhram Province was the chairperson of the meeting and Mr. Apichan Panpreecha, Head of Samut Songkhram Public Relations as a member and secretary along with the subcommittee in both the public and private sectors also attended this meeting.

The Cabinet approved the 5th National Public Relations Plan and Policy (2016-2021) on October 6th, 2015 and assigned the government agencies to use as a guideline for the action plan for public relations at the agency level which Deputy Prime Minister (Mr. Wissanu Krea-Ngam, Chairman of the National Public Relations Committee) appointed the National Public Relations Subcommittee at the provincial level to propel the 5th plan and policy of the National Public Relations (2016-2021) into action at the provincial level.

The Head of Samut Songkhram Provincial Public Relations said that in this meeting, The National Public Relations Subcommittee at the provincial level had jointly driven the provincial public relations action plan for the fiscal year 2019, divided into strategic projects of Samut Songkhram Province, the project that the Public Relations Office of Samut Songkhram operates,  and a public relations project of other agencies according to the 20-year national strategy, the 12th National Economic and Social Development Plan, and the 5th National Public Relations Plan and Policy, which has been included in the plans of the National Public Relations Subcommittee at the provincial level and was already approved by the subcommittee. The meeting also monitored the progress of the implementation of the national public relations action plan at the provincial level for the fiscal year 2019 and discussed about organizing the 3rd National Public Relations Subcommittee Meeting which would be held in July 2019.
