
On January 15th, 2019 at 5.30 PM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pimporn Thongmuang, director of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Ajarn Wannee Promdao, deputy director of special affairs, Ajarn Kantapong Prabsangob, president of the student dormitory committee, and the student dormitory board of Samut Songkhram Education Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, launched a campaign against narcotics and randomly examined drug risk groups together with the Drug Prevention and Suppression Center of Samut Songkhram Province. Expert officer and military officers also participated in organizing the project in accordance with the government policy in order to prevent drug problems among adolescents which is considered a target group that has a lot of opportunity to get involved with drugs.
Pol. Sen.Sgt.Maj. Itthiporn Chanhom, the commander of the suppression of Samut Songkhram police station, helped the prevent and suppress drug abuse centers in Samut Songkhram by giving lecture and drug prevention guidelines and randomly examining urine in order to overcome drug problems sustainably and continuously.
The results appeared to be 0% which means no substance found in any of the 133 random samples (male = 2, female = 131) who were examined at the student dormitory, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
